Fiscal by market

POS fiscal compliance, market by market

Part of iVendNext POS, the selling app of iVendNext, the open retail platform.

POS fiscal compliance for any market, configured for each country rather than custom-built for each retailer. ZATCA in Saudi Arabia, eTIMS in Kenya, CFDI in Mexico and the UAE tax invoice are ready today, and any other country's e-invoicing and tax rules are connected or built the same way. The till books the sale, and your country's app clears or reports it with the tax authority.

Country by country

Ready today, and any market you trade in

Each country's rules are their own app, set up once for your company and used by every till. These markets have ready apps; every other country's e-invoicing connects the same way.

Saudi Arabia

ZATCA POS e-invoicing

  • Each invoice signed in UBL 2.1 and sent to ZATCA's FATOORAH platform: business invoices cleared, consumer invoices reported within 24 hours.
  • The QR code ZATCA asks for, on the invoice, and the clearance status and number on the till's receipt.
  • Each till registered as its own ZATCA device, through a guided onboarding that tests every document type first.

Kenya

KRA eTIMS POS

  • Each invoice submitted to the Kenya Revenue Authority through Slade360, with the KRA QR code on the invoice.
  • Returns sent as KRA credit notes; purchases and stock movements submitted too.
  • Submissions run in the background and retry on their own, and anything that did not go through can be resubmitted together.
  • M-Pesa at the same till.

Mexico

How a sale meets the tax rules Three steps. The till books an ordinary sale. Your country's app sends it to the tax authority the way that country asks: ZATCA in Saudi Arabia, KRA eTIMS in Kenya, SAT CFDI in Mexico. The authority's answer is kept with the invoice, with its number and QR code. 1 The till books the sale An ordinary sale, on any device 2 Your country's app sends it ZATCA Saudi Arabia eTIMS Kenya CFDI Mexico 3 The invoice carries the proof The authority's number and QR code Any other country connects the same way.
How it works

One way of working in every market

In every country the till books an ordinary sale and the country's app does the rest, so a cashier in Riyadh, Nairobi or Monterrey works the same screen.

  • For finance: each authority's reply is kept with the invoice, so you can show what was sent and when.
  • For IT: a country's rules are an app beside the platform, so a change in the law is a change to that app, not to your stores.
  • For any other market: your iVendNext partner builds that country's rules with the partner kit, or our team does, and the till works with them the same way.
Local rules

More local rules at the till

Beyond tax, the App library holds the rules a market asks of a store.

  • Age-restricted sale checkAlcohol, tobacco and vapes checked at the scan and held at Pay.
  • Pharmacy counter rulesA prescription line paid only against a valid prescription, sold by a pharmacist whose licence is in date.
  • Expiry and recallA recalled lot blocked at every online till at once, with disposal recorded for the regulator.
  • Duty-free allowanceThe boarding pass on the sale and each passenger's allowance checked.
Questions

POS fiscal compliance questions

Does iVendNext meet ZATCA e-invoicing?

Yes. The ZATCA app signs each invoice in UBL 2.1 and sends it to ZATCA: business invoices are cleared and consumer invoices reported within 24 hours, with ZATCA's QR code on the invoice.

Does it work with KRA eTIMS?

Yes. Each invoice goes to the Kenya Revenue Authority through Slade360, with the KRA QR code on the invoice and returns sent as credit notes.

Does it issue a CFDI in Mexico?

Yes. A SAT-compliant CFDI is created through FacturaAPI when the sale is completed, with the SAT verification QR on the stamped invoice.

What happens if the tax authority's system is down?

Each country's rules decide. In Kenya, invoices go to KRA in the background and are retried on their own, and any that still fail can be resubmitted together; in Saudi Arabia and Mexico each invoice is sent as the sale is completed, so those tills sell while connected.

Which countries does iVendNext cover?

Any country. Saudi Arabia, Kenya, Mexico and the UAE have ready apps, and any other country's e-invoicing and tax rules are connected or built the same way, by your iVendNext partner or by our team. CitiXsys has served retailers in more than 90 countries for more than 20 years.

Who sets it up?

Your iVendNext partner, or your own team, registers your company with the authority's onboarding and turns the country's app on once. Every till then uses it.
