Take the apps your stores ask for
Each available app has its own card in the iVendNext App library and its own guide. Your iVendNext partner installs them for you, or your own team does. The optical app is free, and either can copy and extend it.
Ready for your optical store today
Each has its own card in the App library and its own guide.
Optical prescriptions and lab orders
The eye test, the lab job and one rule at the till.
- Each eye prescription in the back office: spectacles or contact lenses, the test date and the last day it is valid, each eye's values, the pupil distances, a contact lens fit, notes and a scan of another practice's prescription.
- A lab order made from the prescription, its values copied: ordered, sent to the lab, ready to collect, collected, or sent back to the lab for a remake.
- A job sheet to print for the lab, and a list of the lab orders to chase, the oldest due first.
- At Pay, a line from a lens group you mark is refused when the customer has no prescription of its kind in date. The cashier reads which line and why.
- The dates and the e-mail your own notices need, to tell a customer their glasses are ready or their eye test is due.
- Who uses it
- Optometrists write prescriptions; store staff make and move lab orders; the cashier rings the sale; your administrator marks the lens groups.
- How you get it
- Free in the App library. At each Pay, the sale's priced basket goes to a service iVendNext hosts in the United States, which asks your iVendNext only which kind of prescription the customer has and until when, never a lens value, and writes nothing.
Apps an optical store shares with other shops
Free in the App library, each with its own guide.
Post-sale feedback
Hear how the visit and the fitting went, store by store.
- A manager presses Send feedback requests; each recent till customer gets your own message with their own link.
- The customer taps one of three answers, may add a comment, or asks not to be asked again.
- One answer per sale, kept with its comment; a report lists the answers by store.
- Walk-in customers and returns are never asked.
- Who uses it
- The store manager and the retail manager.
- How you get it
- Free in the App library. Each press goes to a service iVendNext hosts in the United States, which reads your till sales and customers' contacts and writes the requests; customers' answers pass through it.
Added to your site by your partner
These iVendNext apps run across every industry. Each is installed with a key from iVendNext, and your iVendNext partner adds it to your site.
iVendNext also connects to SAP S/4HANA, NetSuite and Sage X3. Any other ERP, including a regional one, your partner connects with the iVendNext partner kit.
Next in the library for optical stores
Built and being finished in the iVendNext POS. It joins the App library when it is ready to install.
Third-party payer
A customer with a vision plan pays only their share.
- Payers, plans, the items they cover and their members are records you fill.
- The plan's rules are data: a co-pay percentage, a limit per sale, a cap on the co-pay, a plan price list. The two shares always add up to the sale, to the cent.
- Claims are built from the sales, sent as a claims file, and matched to the plan's payment.
- Each plan's terms and link are added by your partner or your team.
- Who uses it
- The cashier at the tender; the claims clerk in the back office.
Also serves pharmacy insurers and company staff accounts
The library keeps growing, and anything else your partner or your own team can build with the iVendNext partner kit.
Build your own, or have it built
Our app is the version most optical stores need. When yours works differently, your iVendNext partner, or your own developers, can copy it, change it, and build what your chain needs on top. Apps built by partners can be listed in the same App library, beside ours.
Your lab's own system
Each lab order sent to the lab's ordering system, and its status read back.
Your country's prescription
The extra fields your market asks for on a prescription.
Your own lens rule
A warning instead of a refusal, or a contact lens fitting newer than a year.
Repeat contact lens orders
A customer's lenses reordered on their own schedule.
