The retail app library for every need
The App library is where iVendNext, the open retail platform, keeps its apps. This retail app library holds apps by iVendNext for selling, stock, customers, payments, local rules and more, and partners list their own apps after our review. Find them by what they do, your country and your trade, and add them to your stores.

From the card to your stores
- Read the card. What the app does, who uses it, how to set it up, and what it sends outside your business.
- Agree to what it will do. Your administrator installs it from iVendNext Desk after reading what it will do, written from the app itself. A new version asks again.
- Or ask your partner. Apps that run inside your site, such as payments, tax and connectors, are installed for you by your partner or iVendNext.
- Set it up and switch it on. Each card lists the steps, store by store.
Every listed app is checked before it reaches your stores
Reviewed before listing
We review an app before its first listing, and again when a new version sends data somewhere new or asks for more access.
One signed list
Every listed app is in one list signed by iVendNext. Your site checks the signature itself before it installs anything.
Through your front door
An app installed from Desk never connects to your database. It asks through the API as a user your administrator makes for it, with one narrow role.
Safe across upgrades
Apps add to iVendNext; they never change it. Money enters a sale only before payment, where the cashier sees it.
Most apps by iVendNext are free, and apps built with the kit are open
Most apps iVendNext makes for the library are free to install; each card says how you get it. Every app we build with the kit starts as working code in the open Partner Kit on GitHub.
So when your business needs an app to work your way, your partner or your own team can copy it, change it and put it to work for you, without starting from nothing.
See the Partner Kit on GitHubYour partner or your own team can build one
Build retail apps on iVendNext in any language, on your own server, and with your own AI if you like. The kit and more than thirty samples are open on GitHub, and the kit's checks keep what you build safe through every upgrade.
For one retailer
Publish an app to one customer's own shelf, where only that customer sees it, under Made for you in their iVendNext Desk.
For every retailer
Ask us to list it in the App library. We check it, sign it and list it with your company as its maker.
Yours to own
What you build is yours. Set your own price and bill your own customers.
Questions about the App library
What is the App library?
The App library is the place to find apps for iVendNext, at library.ivendnext.app. Each app has a card that says what it does, who uses it, how to set it up and what it sends outside your business.
Who makes the apps?
iVendNext builds apps for the library, and partners list their own apps under their company name after our review. Every listed app is in one list signed by iVendNext.
How do I add an app to my stores?
Your administrator installs it from iVendNext Desk after reading and agreeing to what it will do. Apps that run inside your site, such as payments, tax and connectors, are installed for you by your partner or iVendNext.
Can my own developers or partners list an app?
Yes. Any developer can build on the open kit, in any language and on their own server. An app can go to one retailer's own shelf straight away, or be listed for every retailer after our review.
Are the apps safe to install?
Yes. Every listed app is reviewed before its first listing, and your site checks the signed list before it installs anything. An app installed from Desk reaches your data only through the API, with the one role your administrator gives it.
What do apps cost?
Most apps by iVendNext are free to install, and each card says how you get it. For apps with a key, talk to us or your partner.
